Comedy Night ‘live@The Harbour’ - Saturday 5th October 2024, 8.00pm
We’re very happy to announce the line up for our second year of ‘live@theHarbour’ comedy special, on Saturday night in the Marine Room at the Salcombe Harbour Hotel. With views across to 'the Field of Light', the evening will feature headliner Laura Lexx and comedians Ollie Horn and Eva Bindeman.
Get your tickets here, this year’s event promises to be just as much fun as 2023! Note: a portion of the proceeds from this event and money raised across the weekend will be donated to the RNLI. All our events are part of the RNLI Field of Light celebration. A weekend of art, music, fun and entertainment - all in the cause of raising money for the incredible RNLI charity.
MC: The whole evening will be compared by the flamboyantly repressed and optimistically cynical Andrew White, with skilful writing and a charming on-stage persona, Andrew is a stand-up fast rising through the comedy ranks with an act that's "definitely one to watch" (Joe Lycett)
Opener: Ollie Horn. Ollie is a regular at the Edinburgh, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne comedy festivals. Ollie has toured the world as a headline act, performing with his high-energy and engaging observational comedy. He has gigged in over a hundred cities worldwide, in places as far flung as Nepal, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Nigeria, and now, Salcombe! (As heard on BBC R4's Money Box. "It’s impossible not to like Ollie Horn" - Mumble)
Middle: Eva Bindeman. Eva is a Bristol based, Northeast Comic. Recently seen on BBC1 and iPlayer for the BBC New Comedy Awards, Eva took home the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedy Award this year as previously won by the likes of Romesh Ranganathan, Johnny Vegas and Rhod Gildbert. (“Superb... very funny!” – Russell Howard)
Headliner: Laura Lexx, a vivacious, impassioned, and one of the best Headliners on the comedy scene today. Following her Live at The Apollo (BBC) debut, Laura has appeared in shows such as Mock The Week (BBC), Hypothetical (Dave), Roast Battle (Comedy Central) and Celebrity Mastermind (BBC) to name a few.
"A bouncy, bubbly stand-up star is born" (The Telegraph)
Grab your tickets whilst you can, once they’ve gone, they’ve gone. Enjoy!
